Change your fuel filter at intervals recommended in your owner's manual. If the owner's manual makes no specific recommendation, inspect the fuel filter when engine performance becomes sluggish, i.e., engine does not fully respond to accelerator pedal. Replace the filter if it is dirty. Expect to change the filter at about every 30,000 miles.
